From the time my children were toddlers we enjoyed visiting my parents in Sarasota at Christmas. It was always a special time and we engaged in a new activity each year. The Nutcracker at the Van Wezel, all the area beaches, Mote Marine Aquarium, Peace River canoeing, Ft. Desoto Park...We fell in love with Sarasota, its beautiful climate and endless activities, and moved here 18 years ago. As my children grew up here, I participated in many parts of the community and could not imagine a place I’d rather be.
